The projects listed below highlight the types of digital projects I have worked on either as lead producer or project manager. It is a potted history to date and is not a complete list of all the projects I have worked on. To discuss my work experience further please email me.
2010
Launch of Holiday Inn Facebook page & social media campaign
Agency/Client:McCann Sydney for Holiday Inn
Role: Lead producer
Hired as a freelance senior digital producer to work on a social media campaign for Holiday Inn including the development and launch of their Facebook page for APAC and a number of photo competitions with the objective of building their social media presence and developing a local community.
POLLEN: Adventures of the Last Butterfly
A social game with an ‘Eco’ conscience featuring Monty, a rather naive but very brave caterpillar. POLLEN was developed as my graduating project for the Graduate Certificate in Multiplatform Content at AFTRS. The course provided a fantastic base of knowledge on what multiplatform (or transmedia) is as an industry, national and international opportunities and practical experience at how to develop content and campaigns.
2009
Launch of canon.com.au
Agency/Client: Leo Burnett for Canon Australia
Role: Lead producer
2009 has been a really exciting year and as an agency producer, I have worked on a lot of diverse projects. The most recent being the relaunch of canon.com.au for Canon Australia while at Leo Burnett Sydney in November 2009.
The goal of the new site is to provide a usable, consistent brand experience for consumers while improving the content management and maintenance of the site for Canon internally.
The previous website had not been updated for a number of years and the project encompassed the overhaul of the entire site from developing new information architecture and creative through to content development and integrating a new content management system.
mCapsule pitch @MIPTV Content 360 Competition
Role: Lead producer
I’m interested in developing multiplatform content and campaigns, love music and as such, I was selected as a Finalist for Content 360 - MIPTV’s cross media competition in the BBC Category, “Factual Content via Your Mobile”. My proposal was based on developing a mobile site that charts the history of the London urban dance music scene. I pitched the idea in April ’09 (against two other production companies) to the BBC commissioners and publically at Cannes during the MIPTV conference.
2008
Waratahs Fan Forum
Agency/Client:OneDigital for HSBC
Role: Project Manager
Working as project manager, the fan forum was a joint development between Fairfax as publisher and OneDigital. This involved managing the development of information architecture, page designs and display banners for the campaign.
The forum posed relevant questions to fans across the season to encourage participation with the same questions being used on display banners.
HSBC Stress Less Banners
Agency: OneDigital
Role: Project Manager
As HSBC’s agency project manager, I managed production for all media banners, microsites and landing pages across all their products including home loans, savings, credit cards and local area marketing. The Stress Less synchronised banners used video to show customers how to relax while at their desks.
The ads ran at specific time periods during the day across News and Fairfax websites. The video was also produced and managed inhouse (casting, scripting, filming and post production).
HSBC Rich Media Banners – Polling – IAB finalist for 2008
The Savings banners used an Eyeblaster polling component to provide real time statistics on the percentage of people who had chosen each choice.
It was the first time HSBC decided to run rich media with OneDigital and the banners were nominated a a Finalist at the IAB awards in 2008.
2007
Stockland Website & Extranet Launch
Agency/Client:OneDigital for Stockland
Role: Project Manager
Working with branding agency, Principals to roll out the new branding for a national brand launch. As part of the project, a separate Brand extranet was developed to enable Stockland to manage brand assets and educate their roster of agencies on brand guidelines. This involved managing a team of four developers as well as external relationships with the Principals team. The project was successfully launched on time and within budget. Both sites are .NET based with CMS integration.
2006
GE Money Australia & Qantas Microsite
Agency: G2 Sydney for GE Money Australia
Role: Project Manager
Managed the design and development of the flash based campaign microsite, including banners and edm campaign. Liaised with Qantas marketing and GE Money internal IT team to roll out the site that allowed the consumer to apply for travel insurance and check quotes.
Bipolar.com website
Agency: G2 Sydney for Eli Lilly
Role: Project Manager
An educational site for sufferers of bipolar disorder, the site provides useful information and links to resources. I project managed the redesign and development of the site including the questionnaire and polling elements.
